My too pregnant niece

During a recent call to my sister, I heard possibly the cutest thing ever:

My three year old niece was giving an account of her day, which included a trip to the park, and happened to mention that she had not gone on the slide. When asked why, she replied “because I’m too pregnant!” (her mother- my sister is heavily pregnant at the moment).

Ever the smart child, when my sister disputed her pregnant state, she confessed “ok, mummy, I was just scared.” Lesson: always know when to concede your hand.
